If you have downloaded information, which includes time information, you are able to view this kind of data in Google Earth subsequently. For example, user can view GPS tracks that occur in a specific time and then visually all these tracks are followed by them. In order for this you need to follow some steps. First you need to import GPS data or you can import time related data. Now go to places panel and then choose this data. There appears time slider on the topmost side of 3-D viewer.
For moving the time range a bit earlier, you have to drag time slider at the left side or right side. Time slider has unique features. You can click on it to play it in a sequence. It works best when you will move the range marker for defining a time range. In order to go further, you need to click on the adjacent buttons. Now your work is of dragging its range marker at the right side for re-defining the time range of information displayed.
You can even zoom in and zoom out for shortening or lengthening the information range that is covered by timeline. This lets user to see various imageries, which is available in a short period. Whenever you zoom in or zoom out, the Start as well as End dates are changed on the timeline. Now drag this for moving the time range to the earlier. You are also able to set some options for timeline display feature. For doing this you require to follow some steps.
First, you need to click on the setting icon by going to time slider. There appear dialog boxes of time and data as well. The options include displaying time in, animation speed and start date/time. Animation speed is a great slider for setting the speed of animation, which occurs if you click on the play button from the time slider. By selecting the loop animation checkbox, you can play your animation constantly.
Viewing historical images is also possible therefore; you are able to see how every place is changed over time. Google Earth has the ability to display updated imagery. If you have your GPS device then you are able to connect it to the computer and then import waypoint as well as track information into the program Google Earth. Always remember that the collection of features is there in Google Earth Pro as well as Google Earth EC for users. They are not available in the free version of Google Earth.
Recently Google Earth is able to support many GPS devices from manufacturers such as Garmin and Magellan. The GPSBabel is a great site that can list many devices that are supported by the program Google Earth. World Wind is an open source program that is made by NASA. It is basically used for the use on all personal computers that are running on operating system like Microsoft Windows. It is developed with latest Java version that can run on operating systems such as Windows, Mac and Linux. This program can overlay aerial photography, GIS data and 3-Dimensional models of planet earth, NASA and USGS satellite images. Numerous worlds are included in this program such as Venus, Moon, Jupiter and Mars. You can view all these worlds from file menu.

Cameras on the top of the roof of the cars with the logo of Google on them are just making their way on the streets of Sydney, to capture some efficiently resolved snaps of the streets of Sydney, to include them in their new feature for their Maps well recognized as the street view. As soon as these snaps are released on Google Maps, the local users along with the worldwide users will be excited to see the crowd of Sydney in those pictures.

Always trying to make a difference, Google Earth is present times standing for the American Revolution. Done a lot for the rainforests of Amazon and for the species of the Mozambique, Google Earth decides to make the students of all over the world aware about the much talked about American Revolution.
Recently, Google Earth joined hands with the popular Discovery Channel to educate the K-12 students about the revolution that happened in America some ages before. Both of them worked together to plan out some lessons that will be using Discovery education and some of the Google products like the Google Earth and the Sketch-up to make students some of the major subjects.
