Big Bang Google Earth
Are you living in this world? Want to know what is atmosphere going to be like today or week after? Are you really interested in visiting different places on the Earth? Want to know when and where to spend your vacation this summer? Are you fed up of reading old fashioned weather conditions in papers? If you answer any of these questions affirmatively, you must have Google Earth installed on your computer.
Google Earth is kind of a virtual globe, designed and developed by none other than Google itself. It is a mandatory thing for a net user to visit Goole.com at least once a day! So, you know what Google is and it’s credibility as well. This virtual globe works on similar lines of the desktop globe what we used to refer. There are tremendous additional features in Google Earth like distances, weather condition and forecast, longitude/ latitude of every place you select and much more!
It is simply impossible to include every feature of Google Earth in one or two articles. It will be as difficult as putting all best places on earth on one sheet of paper. Simply impossible! Google Earth was previously called Earth Viewer 3D, originally created by Keyhole, Inc. Google took over that company 2004. After that, Google has put in lot of efforts right from re-conceptualization. The task was not easy. NASA already produced World Wind, a similar kind of virtual globe few months before, and you know how difficult it is to compete an opponent like NASA! Every user, investor, veteran in computer field was just waiting for the launch of Google Earth. There was a kind of tussle between two giants, NASA and Google. Both are very huge organization in their own field, having loads of experience and expertise! Google came up with some unique features in Google Earth. With due respect to all, you can say that Google has passed this acid test with flying colors!
In real terms, Google Earth is fun, education and fantasy at the same time, a real fun for someone who wants to see how our planet looks like; Education for anyone who goes on hunting for places. You might be knowing Zurich is somewhere in Europe, but if you type that in ‘Find’ bar, Google Earth will take you there and educate you about it’s weather, road maps, places of interests and so on…. If you are a businessman, you can search for business listings as well.
With Google Earth, you can tour oceans, historical places, Earth, Moon, Mars and much more. Google Earth is available under three licenses: free version with sort of limited functionality; Google Earth Pro ($495 per year), which is developed for commercial use and Google Earth Plus. It is available in multiple languages other than English. Few of them are Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese-simplified, Hebrew and Hindi.
So what are you waiting for? Get started! Log on to net, download Google Earth and start touring the Earth!Technorati Tags: Google, Google Earth features, using Google Earth,
