Hot Games By Google Earth or Playable on Google Earth

Where in the world- every month Google titillates the brains of inquisitive people and enthusiasts. Google Earth puts out a free newsletter that contains a puzzle game. A screenshot of the earth is taken and Google asks you to get the place where the photograph is taken. It’s a cool game that allows your mind to think and grow. It allows you to think globally and lets your mind wander places.

National Geographic Geography quiz- is a great game-cum awareness program presented by National Geography and that can be played on Google Earth. Since 1987, National Geography has pledged a fixed amount of money to teach kids about Geography and about our planet in general. Google Earth has done several rounds of quizzes including the coverage of all continents. All the continents, Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, both the America’s and Antarctica have been covered and the kids are given ‘fun information’ about the countries in them, from cultural and geographical point of view.

Fun and Games- A whole forum ha been dedicated to the ‘fun and games’ forum by Google Earth. Though the games have some similarity with the newsletter they are more sophisticated. The games are played within the forum. Like the newsletter, people post a screenshot of a place and ask other s to guess. Moreover the other way is that one players names the location and ask the others to guess the exact spot where it is located at by giving some interesting trivia about it. It is very interesting and makes you think of our beautiful planet as a whole bloc rather than in fragments.

You don't have to download them all. If you have a Mac or you don't want the Google Software Pack for some reason you can download it directly from the main site.
