How to use Google SketchUp with Google Earth
After downloading Google SketchUp on your computer you have to set all settings like view setting, visualization setting, elevation setting, graphic setting. Then restart the Google earth. It is because the Google SketchUp run smooth Google earth and give faster results. If you do not set the setting Google SketchUp may run slow and do not provide good results what it should be. Before installing the Google SketchUp you should make sure that whether Google SketchUp run very well while you using the Google Earth. You have to place Google SketchUp on right place so that you can use it for different purpose according to your requirements. In Google earth, fly down closer to the location where you want place the Google SketchUp model.
There is get current view option in the SketchUp model. By clicking the button you can take the snapshot of the image or the terrain that is displayed in the Google earth. There is yellow button, it I looks like the Google earth icon with yellow arrow pointing right side. Using this button you can take any snapshot of the image or terrain that is displayed in the Google earth.
It is better if you learn about how to handle or use Google SketchUp model before using for profit. It is because if you know all things clear you can use it better and get better results. Read all instruction carefully and try to apply in your practical work. Create your own model over the image. You have to add a basement to your model if the terrain is slopped. It is because your model can sit down in the sloped ground when you turn the terrain on. Keep in mind the terrain that you see in the SketchUp model is black and white even though you see it colorful in the Google earth. But it the color does not effect on the work, because the image is only for positioning purpose and not for other purpose. You will get result what you want. But your working method or handling method should be proper as they are given in instructions. Once the model placed in the Google earth, it is displayed in the original color terrain. It means the original color will not be changed even though you see it in black and white color in the model.
There are nu8mbers of model in the Google earth 3D Warehouse you can download them from the 3D model so that you will get more options to use in your model. You can also create your own model by using your own creativity. There are some SketchUp video tutorials and clippings that will show some demo how to create the models. There is “Help” menu on SketchUp video. As soon as you click on the help menu you will see view tutorials and select. You can create a model in this empty terrain. There is another option to open an empty terrain model. Go to the sketchup user’s guide and select Help menu and click on the SketchUp Help. Some instructions can be displayed read instructions carefully and follow them. You can create your own model in Google SketchUp with the help Google earth.
