Is it possible to use Google Earth on Ubuntu?

Once, you have completed the installation by following the instructions, you need to access the software program by simply opening it from the default location. The default location of this software application is: "/usr/local/google/google-earth".
4] To open newly installed software application, type the command given below: /usr/local/google/google-earth/googleearth. If your Ubuntu operating system launches Google Earth automatically, then this means a current account is already installed on your pc. In such a case, you need to select the option “Run free version” in order to use this Google Earth application.
If you get the option for entering the server that you wish to use then just select the database that you want to view in “Google Earths-Select Server window”. Another way to change server in Ubuntu is to log into Google Earth and then click on “file” option. Log out, then log back in and select server that you desire from drop down menu.
