Outdoor layer of Google earth

Trimble Outdoors has teamed up with the ubiquitous and fabulous Google for enhancing the scope of Google earth by adding an adventure layer to it. This adventure layer is a multimedia Global Positioning System content layer for all the outdoor adventure lovers. Now, with this addition of layer to Google earth, it is possible for all Google Earth users to observe a diversity of information regarding Global positioning system points, paths, descriptions, instructions and directions. Not only this, it lets its users to view images as well as audio and video clips from the particular trail.

Now, let us look at the procedure for accomplishing the above mentioned task. Some of you may think that the procedure may be tedious. However, fact is not the same. You can perform the task by following some easy steps. At first, you have to start Google Earth program. Then go to "Layers" option located in the Sidebar at the left side. You have to expand the folder named "Featured Content". You will find this folder under the "Primary Database" category. Next, click the checkbox for “Trimble Outdoors Trips". Here, you have to choose as many options depending on the how much detailed view you want. Now, in the main window, zoom and pan into the desired area of your interest in anticipation of viewing the red dots and lines, which will indicate the ‘Trimble Outdoors trips’.
