Google is a type of mapping technology offered by Google. It is very powerful and easy to use service. It also includes business information such as the location of a particular business, their contact info and driving instructions on how to get there. You can also get the following features in Google Maps. Through its integrated business search results you can locate any business. Not only that but you can have all the information regarding that business such as its exact location, driving directions and its contact numbers etc. for example if you are looking for a fast food outlet, names of all the fast food outlets will be displayed on the screen along with their contact info. Detailed info on working hours, payment etc is also given.
You can now click on the maps and also drag them. Thus you can view all the sections without waiting long for the locations to download. You can now pan and zoom any location and also view its satellite imagery. If you want to go to a place you have never visited before, just type the address. You will get all the instructions to get to the place. You can zoom out zoom in, and use the home and end keys by using short cuts on your keyboard. Zooming in and zooming out is now possible by using the scroll of the mouse.
Can a place be located with the help of its latitude and longitude?
Yes you can locate some of the places with the help of latitude and longitude. But this service is not available for all the places.
How do I locate a burger outlet in my area?
It is easy to find specific locations in Google maps. Go to the Google maps main page and type the words "in" or "near". Also type a city or any other location e.g. Burger near Chicago. You will see the relevant results along with detailed info and driving instructions. Another option is to click "Find businesses" in the search box and then the particular business and where it is located. Hence in the “What” box you should type Burger and in the “Where” box you should enter the specific location.
How do I get driving directions to a particular place?
There are many ways in which you can find directions on Google maps. You can click on a particular place and a pop up window opens. All info regarding the business is given there. First you need to click on “To hear” and then type the address. Next you have to click on “Get the directions”. You will see the route and also find step-by-step driving directions. To view a magnified map, just click on any spot or see the hybrid image. For return route, click on “Reverse directions”. The second way is to include "to" or "from" in the main search box. The route from the requested place to the requested place will be seen. A third way is to go to “Directions” and write the desired address.
