Live Search Maps and Google maps
Live Search Maps and the Google maps are the products that provide the maps along with the virtual images of a particular place in it. Google has released the “Google Maps” before the Microsoft Virtual Earth. The ‘Live Search Maps’ is an advanced version of the Virtual Earth. Both these products are free products. They are available absolutely free and, anybody can download them just by having an internet connection and you can enjoy the virtual images of the world. To use both these programs efficiently on your computer, it is not necessary for you to be a member or, create a login ID.
Both of them can be used easily by anyone, who does not have any training regarding how to use these products. They have incorporated such systems that anybody can read and follow the instructions appearing on the screen.
The set up for using them: you can download Google Earth and live search Maps for free, from the websites. Download them, and install on your PC, if you wish to utilize all of their features. However, it is not obligatory to download these products. You can directly log on to them and start observing the maps and the virtual images of the entire world. If you want to install the Windows Live Search Maps on your PC, then you can do it by using the program memory or a storage card. However, in case of Google Maps, you are supposed to use the program memory only.
Now let us see briefly the comparison of these two products. Live Search Maps and the Google maps have some similarities along with some differences in them. Enter your existing location or search for the destination is more or less similar for both of them. However, some differences lies in the working, lucidity and precision of the images. The images offered by The Live Search Maps are clear only for a limited number of countries. These images possess a very high resolution and focus. But in case of other countries, and the out of town or in smaller cities, it does not give quality images.
In such instances, the images offered by that of the Google Maps are much better. Google Map is considered better for the images of the rest of the world. No doubt, the Live Search Map provides a good quality image, but its controls are not as efficient as the Google Maps. If you are browsing through the maps using Live Search Maps, you need a great deal of patience. This is so because the browsing takes place very slowly.
Additionally, there is a lot of inconvenience, as the main focus of the maps is towards some other point than what we wish. Furthermore, downloading views and images takes sometime with the Live Search Maps. But, if Google Maps are used in this case, then preferably you will not face some of these problems. Browsing through Google Maps is very comfortable and smooth.
