Managing your business listing at the Local Listing Center
When your listing gets added to the Local Listing Center, you can at any time return to it and manage it. For this just visit the Live Search Maps, Local Listing Center and sign in using your Windows Live ID. On doing so you will be able to edit your listing, change categories, review listing, and remove it.
The procedure of doing all this is given below.
Editing your listing
Choose the option for editing listing.
Your listing will appear on the screen in an editable form. You can edit it and make the changes, which you want.
Reviewing your listing
a) Click the option for reviewing your listing.
b) Then you would be able to correct or modify your business location on the map. For this just click, hold, and drag the icon to the location at which you want it to be.
c) When you have modified the location click continue.
Edit categories
If you have entered a wrong category or you just want to change the categories, you can change it in this section. Note that, you can add up to 6 categories for your business. The procedure for editing categories is given below.
a) Click the option for editing categories.
b) Then from the list of categories from the All Categories tab, choose more categories from the list.

b) Alternatively, you can use the search box for searching for categories. Enter a keyword, and click search. Then go the category results tab, you can choose the category which you want.
c)As before you have chosen more than one categories, you can arrange them in an order or importance. For this just choose one of the categories from the box and then drag it to a particular position in the list. You can also delete categories, which you have already chosen. When you are satisfied with the arrangement of the categories, you can click OK.
d) For the categories like Restaurants and hotels, you can further describe your business with subcategories.
e) Lastly, when you are fully satisfied with the categories you can click “Submit”.
Remove Your Listing
In the future, your business may be closed and therefore you may need to remove your listing from the Local Listing Center. Alternatively, you may also want to remove your listing just because you no longer want it to appear on the Local Listing Center. Live Search Maps is aware of this and therefore it provides you the facility to do so. You can remove your listing anytime your want.
Live Search Maps also provides you the facility to dissociate yourself with the listing. If you do so you will get dissociated with the listing, however it will remain at the Local Listing Center.
Removing your listing
a) You will find the option for this, besides your listing at the Local Listing Center. Click on the option.
b) You have the following two options, the first one is to remove your listing, and the second is to remove yourself as the administrator for that listing.
