Use Live Search Maps to Modify your Maps

Live Search Maps along with offering you different maps that contain useful information also offers the ability to edit the maps and include in them the things that you find useful. Thus, you can mark the path, area, etc on the map. In addition to these marking, you can any time edit these things as per your wish. To edit the maps at the later stages, you can use the options like changing the colors, width, style, and altering the path or the area you have previously marked.

Changing the width and style of the path and the area: You can alter the line width for the paths or the area of the map. Select the line or the area and then go to the collections editor and from there select the line width tool. You can also use the line style tool also. You should choose according to what you want to do. Then accordingly click on what you wish to do.

Adding a new point on the map: If you want to add a new point on the map, use the following guidelines. Select the path and right click on a point on the path. This point should be next to the position where you want to add the new point. Then select the Continue drawing from the options that appear on the screen. Determine a particular position where you want to add the point and then click at that point. Likewise, you can add more points if you want. When you finish marking the required number of points, double-click on the last point that you added. This will stop the process of adding new points.

Modifying the points on path: Select the line or the area and then use one of the following methods. If you want to alter the point on the path or the area, click on it, then keep holding the mouse key, and drag the point to the position where you want to place it. If you want to delete a point from the path or the area, right click there and click on Delete node.

The benefits of these features: While you are using the drawing feature in the Live Search Maps, you generally use it to add more information to the maps or to make the maps more useful that provides information about the particular paths and areas. I highly recommend the Google Software Pack. It comes with a lot of great software that is all FREE. You can also pick and choose which of the software products you want to download. You don't have to download them all. If you have a Mac or you don't want the Google Software Pack for some reason you can download it directly from the main site.
